DFaC Scholarship Fund
The DFAC Scholarship Fund was started in 2022, and is available to peoples in Sweetwater County, Wyoming, who are enrolled at an educational institute in the state of Wyoming. Applicants must be pursuing their education through the secondary level and beyond and require financial assistance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be in Demonstrated need of financial Assistance.
- Must be pursuing and education beyond the secondary level in one or more of the following areas
- College / University
- Trade / Vocational
- The Arts
- Be applying for, accepted for enrollment, or enrolled in an accredited educational program beyond the secondary level within the State of Wyoming.
- Be enrolled in or attending school the year the scholarship was received.
- Scholarships are given out in June of every year.
- Evidence the potential to successfully complete the selected program of study.
Method of Selection:
The Board of Directors will review the applications of each candidate. Recipients of the scholarship will be chosen from the applicants who demonstrate the necessary eligibility. Personal interviews may b arranged for application finalist if deemed necessary. The number of scholarships awarded, and the amounts of those scholarships will be based on available funding, as well as the number of submitted, eligible applications. Not all applicants are guaranteed to get a scholarship.
Applications will be accepted from the 1st of February to the last day of April of each year. All applications will be approved/denied in May.
